Residents Celebrate July 4 at Massanutten Resort
Joe, Sean, Gabe, and Sam (left to right) spent the nation’s 250th birthday on a getaway to Massanutten Resort. The group spent the bulk of the day at the water park, which had waterslides, a lazy river, and a wave pool.
“The water felt nice, so I stayed in the wave pool for a long time. It was so hot out that I mostly moved around in the waves.”

Camp Jaycee Reunites Residents with Old Friends
Camp Jaycee is more than a summer tradition for some residents. Their year-long excitement is because of the two weeks of friendship, activities, and memories at camp.

Partner Spotlight: From Confidence at Blue Elegance to Independence at Gabriel Homes
This article in the August 2026 edition of our monthly newsletter, The Treehouse, is the first of a five-part series between ECHO and Gabriel Homes. See how ECHO’s programs empower participants and how Gabriel Homes residents apply what they learn in everyday life independently.
January works at ECHO’s Blue Elegance enterprise, where she creates and sells handmade products from raw materials. Her favorite projects include making candles, earrings, and necklaces. Her income from Blue Elegance gives her greater financial independence that she enjoys at Gabriel Homes.
