At last month’s Christmas party, Jim Anderson, John H., Beth Hoyos, Willie Lemay, and Tom Stringer (pictured in order) were inducted to the Gabriel Homes Hall of Fame. The five inductees were honored for their significant, long-lasting impacts on Gabriel Homes.

Competing against athletes of all abilities, Joe (first photo) won first place in the push-pull event. His gold medal came thanks to his combined weight in the bench press and deadlift categories. Sean (second photo) then achieved a personal best when he deadlifted 275 lbs.

Services, Housing, and More on the Line in Virginia Legislature
The Arc of Virginia and Northern Virginia warn that without legislative action, people with IDD risk losing supports that make independence possible.

Our residents and the Gabriel Homes Work Crew (GHWC) spread the holiday spirit across our homes. While residents decorated their trees and walls indoors, GHWC members trimmed shrubs, cleared leaves, and set up the outdoor lights.
“My hope is the residents feel joy and happiness viewing these beautiful lights on their homes.”
