Gabriel Homes currently operates seven community residences where the developmentally disabled receive the support and encouragement they need to develop to their full potential. We distinguish ourselves from other live-in facilities by emphasizing independent living within a strong community context. Our homes are located in communities where stores, entertainment, and work can be reached by walking, biking, or public transportation.

We offer our residents a complete program based on social contact and constructive activity that transform our simple community residences into comfortable, loving homes. Our counselors and program coordinators join with staff from other organizations to form a team of professionals devoted to the special needs of every resident. Our staff-to-resident ratio allows us to pay close attention to each individual's medical and health needs, as well as help our residents with job mentoring and improving living and social skills.

The disabled have very special gifts. Our role is to bring out these gifts and help develop them.
